Donation In-Kind Services for Charity Groups:
Health-Care Asset Solutions has developed a coordination service directed toward charities in North America that accept or wish to accept medical supplies and equipment to further their objectives to provide medical assistance to their missions.
Up to recently charities received medical supplies and equipment from hospitals, other medical facilities, manufacturers, and vendors. These donations provided several advantages to all parties, the charity received inventories that could be processed and provided to their missions in North America and abroad. Manufacturers and vendors got an advantage by moving out expired and non-saleable inventories, while receiving a tax advantage that brought their financial benefits to a better position rather than throw away these items that would contribute to landfill issues, and trash service costs.
Over the past 5 - 10 years the position of charities has changed significantly. In the past charities received medical donations and had the ability to recruit volunteers to sort and manage these donations economically and efficiently. Well those days are no longer! Charities are now in a position that they must either hire people to sort and designate these items to their missions and dispose of the balance. With the cost of labor these days, let alone the cost of people that know what these items are, is prohibitive, and has forced charities to either turn down these donations or sort through and secure between 10% and 25% of these goods that could be used in their missions. This still makes the disposal of non-usable items to be a major issue, not including the cost factor.
In addition to the issues of donated In-Kind medical supplies and equipment having the opportunity to be very beneficial if it were not for the labor and cost, Charities have not had a low cost source of items when they are required for missions. "Until Now"
Health-Care Asset Solutions has developed a strong group that has the ability to offer charities a win win option when it comes to the issues of medical supplies and equipment donated In-Kind. H-CAS manages the In-Kind donations on behalf of charities and can provide medical supplies and equipment that is needed in missions without the problems of having their people sort and redirect these assets at virtually no cost to the charity and greatly reduce or eliminate the need to have a warehouse to process these items. H-CAS can accept donations at their warehouse that is fully staffed to process these types of medical supplies and equipment, or can arrange for pickup on behalf of the charity to be processed according to a list needed specifically for their missions. H-CAS can also consolidate and ship to the mission end users nationally or internationally.
H-CAS can also supply additional medical supplies or equipment that is required for missions, at deep discounts, as we are continually processing other inventories that come from other sources, and can make them available at significant savings.
